Karnataka Bank Officers recruitment 2012

Karnataka Bank has opened up vacancies for the post of officers. Check out the number of vacancies and approximate salary for the post.

Position and their respective vacancies:

Officer [Scale 1] – 23,000 per month

The written exam will be conducted on 12th February 2012. Interested candidates can apply online within the dates: 29th December 2011 to 13th January 2012.

A little bit about the bank:

The Karnataka Bank is a private sector bank comprising of 480 branches in about 20 states all over the nation with the head office in Mangalore, Karnataka. This bank was formed in the year 1924 with an aim of transforming it into one among the nationalized banks in India. This bank has about 5800 employees enrolled in its service.

Am I eligible?

This question arises in every candidate’s mind. Check out whether you match the common qualifications listed below,

  • Age should be within 30 years as on 1st December 2011.
  • Should be a chartered accountant or a P.G/U.G graduate in appropriate discipline
  • Candidates who have finished MBA and MCA can also apply.

Selection process:

The applicants will have to appear for a written test followed by a personal interview. The written test centers are scheduled to be Mangalore and Bangalore. Negative marks will be provided for each wrong answer.

The selected candidates will be asked to sign a bond of 3 Years.

Application fee is Rs. 250 for general and Rs. 150 for SC/ST. The fee can be paid in via a challan available in the bank’s website in any branch of Karnataka Bank.
