State Bank Of India associate banks Clerk Recruitment process for the year 2012

has begun. SBI does not come under the IBPS recruitment wave and so it is good news for those who missed out the IBPS exam or failed at the IBPS.For this SBI recruitment the candidate must be eighteen years old but not more than twenty eight years.
This 2012 recruitment announcement is for the subsidiary banks and not for the SBI mother organization. You may NOT WORRY about it as the Former SBI Chairman O P Bhatt had already announced that a merger of SBI’s 5 associate banks is on the way. Employee benefit was quoted as the main reason for this move; however insider sources attribute it to reducing the costs. The following are the existing 5 associate banks of SBI. The second column shows the number of vacancies for this year.

Selection procedure
1. A written exam that will have 5 sections. They are

  • General Awareness
  • General English
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Marketing
  • Aptitude / Computer Knowledge

2. One to One interview for the selected candidates

  1. There are negative marks (0.25) for every wrong answer. So, make sure you attend only the Correct Questions.
  2. Bank will be setting the Qualifying mark based on their requirement, so be careful when you answer Questions that are doubtful
  3. The probationary period is for 6 months. There are eliminations when you do not perform well.
  4. To be called for Interview you need to get a good aggregate in all the exams. So do not think about scoring low in one and doing well in another.
  5. Keep a copy of the Fee receipt & Application printout
  6. Make sure you give your correct Email ID as the details will be emailed to you.

      Nalanda. State bank of India is like the mother organisation. There are some minor organisations which they run and they are called as the associate banks of State Bank. the selection for the home organisation and the associate banks are held separately. However here is the good news guys. In some time the associate banks will be merged with the home organisation. Once this is done, i think there wont be any confusion like this. As far as i know the SBI is the best organisation in India where you can get a huge number of benefits. For every Bank Po officer there are perks like a paid home. The rent of such home can be upto 25 thousand rupees. Believe it? another big advantage is that you have easy school and free admission in the SBOA schools in the city. More over if you try to go from SBI to another bank, you can get a greater advantage over other bank candidates. SO do not just choose any bank, but aim for SBi which is the best.

The term you work as a probationary Employee will be called as your Probationary work period. During this period you will be given the needed training and then your skills will be evaluated by a suitable head of the company.

    After the completion of the Probationary period, you may or may not be observed into the workforce.
