State Bank of India has opened up vacancies for the post of 2500 Clerks. Check out the number of vacancies and approximate salary for the post.
Position and their respective vacancies:
Clerks – 2500 vacancies all over India (600 vacancies particularly in North eastern states) – 7,200 to 19,300 per month
Written exam will be conducted on 18th March 2012. Interested candidates can apply online within the dates: 28th December 2011 to 20th January 2012.

As we all know, SBI is one of the most reputed and largest public sector banks in India with more than 15000 branches across the nation. This recruitment project has been opened up especially for the people not belonging to general category.
Am I eligible?

- Age should be within 18 to 28 years.
- Should be a passed out graduate in any degree or should have scored at least 60% in XII Std.
- Those with computer knowledge are preferable.

Selection process:
The applicants will have to appear for a written exam followed by a personal interview. The questions will be of 100 marks. Negative marks will be provided for each wrong answer.
Application fee is Rs. 300 for others and Rs. 50 for SC/ST. The fee can be paid in via a challan available in the bank’s website in any branch of SBI.
