Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank has opened up vacancies for the post of officers and Office Assistants. Check out the number of vacancies and approximate salary for the post.
Position and their respective vacancies:
Officer [Scale I] – 268 vacancies – 14.5k to 25.7k
Officer [Scale II] – 121 vacancies – 19.4k to 28.1k
Officer [Scale III] – 7 vacancies – 25.7k to 31.5k
Office Assistant – 406 vacancies – 7.2k to 19.3k
The written exam will be conducted on 18th March 2012 for Officers and 4th March 2012 for Office Assistants. Interested candidates can apply online within the dates: 28thDecember 2011 to 27th January 2012.

The Uttar Gramin Bank is sponsored by the Central Bank of India. This bank was established with an aim of supporting the rural regions of Bihar. The bank’s head quarter is in Muzaffarpur. With about 18 branches in Bihar alone, this bank is rated to be the largest Gramin bank in India.
Am I eligible?

Selection process:
The applicants will have to appear for a written exam, which is followed by a personal interview. The questions will be of 200 marks. Negative marks will be provided for each wrong answer.
Application fee is Rs. 400 for general and Rs. 50 for SC/ST. The fee can be paid in the form of cash in any branch of Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank or Central Bank of India.
